MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER RE DEFENDANTS' REQUEST FOR ORDER CLARIFYING RULING ON SCOPE OF DEFENDANTS' REVISED SUBPOENA 146 by Judge Wesley L. Hsu. As the Court previously held, Plaintiffs' former counsel is not expected to produce any communications or attachments that constitute attorney work product or mental impressions. Plaintiffs are free to review the relevant documents and submit a privilege log to Defendants denoting which documents-or subparts therein-are subject to work product protection. Accordingly, the Court understands any such waiver to consist of all communications, subject to the exceptions previously denoted, between Plaintiffs' prior counsel (Mr. Thomas Stanton) and Plaintiffs occurring between February 2, 2026, and April 7, 2026, that relate to (1) Defendant's Motion for Partial Summary Judgment (Dkt. No. 84); (2) the Relevant Motions (Dkt. Nos. 86, 88, and 91); and (3) any demands for payment of attorneys' fees by Mr. Stanton to Plaintiffs as they relate to Plaintiffs' ability to comply with the Court's summary judgment and pre-trial filing deadlines (collectively, the "Subpoena Scope"). The Court will entertain Plaintiffs' motion for leave only if Plaintiffs, in collaboration with Mr. Stanton, produce to Defendants all responsive documents within the Subpoena Scope and an accompanying privilege log no later than July 30, 2026.1 [See order for specfics] (lom)
