ORDER: Under Fed. R. Civ. P. 14(a)(1), a defendant must obtain leave of court to file a "third-party complaint more than 14 days after serving its original answer." Further, "[a]ny document that requires leave of the Court for filing must be filed on the docket as an exhibit to the motion requesting leave." SDIL-LR 15.1(a)(1). On September 11, 2026, more than 14 days after serving its Answer (Doc. 22 ), Defendant Delta Enterprise, Corp. filed the Third-Party Complaint (Doc. 38 ) and the Motion for Leave to File the same (Doc. 37 ). Because the Court has not yet ruled on Defendant's motion for leave to file, the Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to STRIKE the Third-Party Complaint (Doc. 38 ). Signed by Judge J.
