Minute Order ~Util - Add and Terminate Parties
MINUTE ORDER (Text Only Entry) issued by Courtroom Deputy for District Judge Dale A. Drozd on 8/26/2026: On 8/24/2026, plaintiff and defendant TransUnion, LLC, filed a 32 stipulation to dismiss defendant TransUnion, LLC, with prejudice purportedly pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii), which provides for voluntary dismissal without a court order by filing "a stipulation of dismissal signed by all parties who have appeared." The 32 stipulation is not signed by all parties who have appeared. Nonetheless, the court will construe the 32 stipulation as a request by plaintiff under Rule 41(a)(2) for dismissal of defendant TransUnion, LLC. In light of plaintiff's 27 notice of settlement with defendant TransUnion, LLC, the court deems dismissal of this action under these circumstances to be proper. Accordingly, defendant TransUnion, LLC, is hereby dismissed with prejudice. The Clerk of the Court is directed to update the docket to reflect that defendant TransUnion, LLC, has been terminated from this action. TransUnion, LLC terminated. (Deputy Clerk PAB)
