Order on Motion for Protective Order
ORDER denying 38 Joint Motion for Protective Order. The Court DENIES the Second Motion [Doc. 38] as MOOT in light of (1) the fact that the noticed date has long passed; and (2) Defendants' agreement to have a representative present for Mr. Velasquez-Mendez's deposition. Further, to prevent further expenditure of the parties' and the Court's resources on this particular dispute, the Court ORDERS that the parties meet and confer by telephone or in person on or before October 2, 2026, for the purpose of selecting mutually agreeable dates for the Depositions. If the parties are unable to agree on such dates, they shall send a single email to Chambers, on or before October 5, 2026, requesting a telephonic hearing. Signed by Magistrate Judge Michael J Dumitru on 9/25/2026. (LCK)
