Order on Motion to Stay
ORDER denying as moot ECF No. 66 Motion to Stay Discovery, given that the Court has granted the parties' motion to temporarily stay proceedings in this case pending mediation.(sd)
ORDER granting ECF No. 69 Motion to Stay Case, in light of the parties' representation that a formal mediation may be a productive means of resolving their dispute and that a mediation conference is currently scheduled for September 8, 2026. All deadlines in this case, including discovery, are temporarily stayed pending mediation. By September 15, 2026, the parties shall file a joint status report regarding the outcome of the mediation. As the case has been pending for more than one year and the Court previously granted several extensions of Defendant's deadline to answer the complaint, the Court intends to move the litigation forward expeditiously if mediation fails. Signed by Judge Sarala V. Nagala on 7/2/2026. (sd)
