Order on Motion for Attorney Fees Order on Motion to Reopen Case Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief
PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part 248 Motion to Reopen Case. Great Lakes Insurance SE has asked that we “reopen the case [and] set a case management conference at which the [p]arties can discuss a potential briefing schedule for the outstanding issues in this case[.]” Motion at 9. Accordingly, we ORDER the parties to hold a case management conference among themselves and submit a joint proposed briefing and case management schedule by August 12, 2026. To the extent feasible, the proposed schedule should allow us to resolve one remaining issue at a time. After we receive the parties’ proposed schedule, we’ll enter a new scheduling order and reopen this case.
Moreover, a Motion for Attorney Fees [ECF No. 244] was docketed in this case and referred to Magistrate Judge Reinhart. But that motion only sought permission to transfer the issue of fees from the Eleventh Circuit to us. See generally Motion for Attorney Fees; see also Motion at 8 (“Furthermore, while the Eleventh Circuit transferred the issue of appellate fees to this Court, and while this Court referred the matter to Judge Reinhart, there is actually no pending motion for attorney’s fees (appellate or otherwise).” (cleaned up)). Accordingly, we Direct the Clerk to STRIKE the Motion for Attorney Fees [ECF No. 244] from the docket.
