Discovery Hearing
TEXT ONLY Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Christopher L. Ray: Discovery Hearing held on 4/30/2024. The parties requested an informal discovery conference for an unspecified discovery dispute (doc. 56 ). Despite clear instructions in the Court's Standard Procedures for Discovery Disputes and Settlement Conferences, the parties did not submit letter briefs 24 hours in advance of the conference. At the conference, the parties informed the Court that the nature of the discovery dispute had, as of that morning, changed. The parties' 56 Motion for Informal Discovery Dispute Conference is DENIED. The new dispute is ongoing and may require the intervention of the Court. The parties are DIRECTED to confer as promptly as possible, pursuant to the Court's Standard Procedures for Discovery Disputes and Settlement Conferences, and determine whether an informal discovery conference is required to resolve the new dispute.
