Order
ORDER: Ms. Grass has communicated the United States Marshals Service and the parties that she missed the July 15, 2025 deposition due to medical issues and is currently out of state, but that she will appear for a rescheduled deposition. Accordingly, Ms. Grass is ORDERED to appear at Courtroom 2 at the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, 450 Main Street, in Hartford, Connecticut, at or before 10:30 am, on Friday, August 7, 2026 for the taking of her deposition. If Ms. Grass does not appear for the deposition, the Court will issue a renewed capias order for her arrest, hold her in contempt of court, and impose sanctions. The U.S. Marshals Service shall notify Ms. Grass of her obligation to appear for the deposition on or before July 31, 2026. Plaintiff's counsel shall send a copy of this order and the July 22, 2026 order (ECF No. 66) to Ms. Grass on or before July 31, 2026. Ms. Grass has already caused the Court to waste a substantial amount of time dealing with her apparent refusal to adhere to subpoenas and court orders; the Court warns her that if she does so again, the Court will impose on her the expense of any and all attorneys' fees that ALL the parties have incurred as a result of her wasting everyone's time. Even if she does - finally - appear for her deposition, the Court will entertain a motion from the plaintiff to impose reasonable expenses incurred, including attorneys' fees. Signed by Judge Michael P Shea on 7/30/2026.(RR)
