MINUTE entry before the Honorable Karyn L. Bass Ehler. Plaintiff's Unopposed Motion to Continue In-Person Status Hearing 110 is granted. The in-person status hearing set for 9/2/26 is stricken and reset to 9/8/26 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 1386. Counsel who will be attending the settlement conference jointly shall email the Court's courtroom deputy at jose_mejia@ilnd.uscourts.gov to obtain dates that the Court is available to conduct a settlement conference in this case and shall discuss those dates with their clients prior to the 9/8/26 status hearing. If none of the proposed dates work for all parties, then counsel shall come prepared with additional dates in September, October, and November when counsel and their clients are available to participate in an in-person settlement conference. The Court also intends to set dates for the exchange of settlement letters and schedule pre-conference telephone calls with counsel for each party prior to the settlement conference. If all parties are not available for the in-person status hearing rescheduled for 9/8/26 at 11:00 a.m., then counsel jointly shall email the Court's courtroom deputy to reset the in-person status hearing for a date and time that all counsel are available to attend an in-person status hearing.
