Text Order
TEXT ORDER - In her complaint dated May 22, 2023, Plaintiff named the following defendants: Mahdey Salhab; Salhab Law, LLC; Bryan Nazor; Dominick DeCarlo; John Bartnick; Patricia Kelly; Casey Crawford; Scott Conforti; Adam Goldberg; Jeralyn J. Lawrence; Timothy F. McGoughran; Diane Coleman; Main Street; Movement Mortgage; and the New Jersey State Bar Association. ECF No. 1. Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed her claims against defendants Timothy McGoughran, Jeralyn J. Lawrence, and the New Jersey State Bar Association pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41. ECF No. 15. The Court also dismissed with prejudice Plaintiff's claims against defendants John Bartnick; Dominick DeCarlo; Patricia Kelly; Bryan Nazo; Main Street Title Agency; Casey Crawford; Adam Goldberg; Movement Mortgage, LLC; Mahdey Salhab; and Salhab Law, LLC. ECF Nos. 41, 47, 50, 55. The remaining defendants, Scott Conforti and Diane Coleman, have not appeared, ECF No. 55 at 5 n.3 (citing ECF No. 41 at 5 n.2), "although it is not clear they were properly served with process," ECF No. 47 at 1 (citing ECF Nos. 4, 6-1). Accordingly, Plaintiff is hereby ordered to show cause as to the propriety of service against Scott Conforti and Diane Coleman under the applicable Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. If Plaintiff does not respond by September 11, 2026, Plaintiff's claims against those defendants will be dismissed without prejudice and the Office of the Clerk of the Clerk will be directed to mark the matter closed. See Lead Be Gone v. Golden Pheasant Sportsmen, No. 23-2108, 2024 WL 3723958, at *1 (W.D. Pa. Aug. 8, 2024) ("The Court may sua sponte dismiss a complaint for insufficient service of process under Rule 4(m)."). This matter is hereby ADMINISTRATIVELY TERMINATED pending further order of the Court. So Ordered by Judge Claire C. Cecchi on 8/26/2026. (jl, )
