Minutes of proceedings [non-document]: On July 7, 2026 Magistrate Judge Reuben J. Sheperd held a telephone status conference to set mediation. In attendance were Andrew J. Thompson for Plaintiffs Jayson and Jacqueline Barber, and Karen E. Swanson-Haan for Defendant United States of America. The parties are currently obtaining written discovery and expect to set Plaintiffs' depositions in August, and are amenable to setting mediation thereafter. Accordingly, the mediation will be set for September 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Chambers 11B. The parties are directed to review the concurrently-filed Order for further instruction.
