MINUTE entry before the Honorable Beth W. Jantz: The Court has reviewed Defendant's Motion to Extend Discovery 63 , in which Defendant represents that it has not received medical records related to Plaintiff's ongoing treatment and requests an additional 45 days to schedule the depositions of Plaintiff's treaters. The Court previously reopened fact discovery as to Plaintiff's current medical procedures on 9/11/2025 (Dkt. 53 ), and recently ordered that all treater depositions be scheduled by 6/22/2026 (Dkt. 62 ). Given the age of this case, Defense counsel's reported difficulty contacting Plaintiff's counsel (see Dkt. 63 at 2), and the now-protracted timeline for producing the medical records at issue, the Court will address Defendant's motion at a hearing. Accordingly, the status hearing set for 8/3/2026 62 is stricken. The parties shall instead call in for the motion hearing on 7/8/2026 at 9:30am. The parties should come prepared to explain the reason(s) for the extended delay in producing the medical records and to propose a timeline for completing the treater depositions. Any medical records in Plaintiff's possession that have not yet been produced to the defense must be transmitted by 7/2/26. To join the hearing by phone, dial 1-650-479-3207 and enter access code 2308 182 1801. Entering an attendee code is not required. Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court-issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court.
