MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS - Virtual/Telephonic Pretrial Conference held on 4/17/2024 before Magistrate Judge Carla Baldwin. Crtrm Administrator: LGM; Pla Counsel: Leigh Goddard and Daniel Aquino; Def Counsel: Sonya Mehta, Ryan Hamilton, Alice Mercado, and Austin Sweet; Recording start and end times: 9:59:09 - 10:26:44; Courtroom: 1; The Court addresses the parties regarding the purpose of this hearing and notes that there will be no further delays in this case. The Getty parties shall resubmit a discovery plan and scheduling order outlining the deadlines that will govern this action calculating the deadlines using a discovery deadline 180 days from today's date. The parties shall have 14 days from today's date to refile any pending motions that were denied without prejudice with leave to refile at (ECF No. 122 .) The parties shall then have 14 days to file an opposition and 7 days to file a reply. The Court and counsel schedule Virtual Case Management Conferences for Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and Thursday, September 26, 2024, both at 9:00 a.m. The Courtroom Deputy will send to lead counsel an email containing information to join the Zoom video conference prior to the hearing date. All other counsel wishing to participate shall dial 877-336-1829. The access code is 2809752 and the security code is 22236. The Court directs counsel to review her Standing Order regarding when the case management report is due and what should be included in such report and further directs counsel to review the Standing Order regarding the Court's informal discovery process should discovery issues arise. Ms. Mehta requests that another settlement conference be scheduled. The Court canvasses counsel regarding the scheduling of another settlement conference and after discussing the issue, the Court finds that she will ask Magistrate Judge Denney if he is willing to preside over a settlement conference in this case. THEREAFTER, the Court has been advised that Magistrate Judge Denney is amenable to presiding over another settlement conference in this case and that his Courtroom Deputy will contact counsel to schedule such conference.
