Order on Motion for Discovery
ORDER granting 53 Letter Motion for Discovery. The Court has received and reviewed the parties' submissions at ECF Nos. 50-54. The deadline for completion of discovery is hereby extended to October 7, 2026 for the limited purpose of Defendant's counsel taking the deposition of Doron Netanel. By September 29, 2026, the parties must submit a joint letter to confirm that the deposition has been scheduled, or to notify the Court of any scheduling issues. With respect to Defendant's demand for the production of communications between Plaintiff's counsel and Mr. Netanel, and for drafts of Mr. Netanel's declaration, while the Court is not ruling on the issue at this time, the Court notes that it is skeptical that Defendant is entitled to such materials, particularly given the reasons articulated in Plaintiff's letter at ECF No. 54. Nevertheless, the parties are directed to meet and confer to determine whether there may be some targeted set of materials that may not be subject to any privilege or protection, and that would fall within the scope of the previously issued discovery demands. If there remains a dispute as to the potential document production or any other issue regarding the deposition, an in-person conference will take place on October 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 250 of the White Plains federal courthouse. If there are no disputes to be addressed, the parties must write to the Court by October 1, 2026 to request an adjournment of the conference. (HEREBY ORDERED by Magistrate Judge Andrew E.
