Order on Motion for Extension of Time to File Response/Reply ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines
TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Sara Darrow on July 1, 2026. Plaintiff Heidi Erickson 113 requests an extension of time to file responses to 97 Defendants Wendy Hughes and Joe Rossmiller's motion for summary judgment, 101 Defendant Megan Clemons's motion to dismiss, and 98 the motion for sanctions. She requests an extension of at least three weeks and asks that the deadlines be spaced out. See 113 Mot. Extension of Time 1. Erickson states that an extension is necessary due to medical difficulties, ongoing communications disabilities, and the need to conduct research regarding recent legal developments. See generally id. Erickson's 113 motion for extension of time is GRANTED. Her response to the 97 motion for summary judgment is now due on July 22, 2026. Her response to the 98 motion for sanctions is now due on July 29, 2026. Her response to the 101 motion to dismiss is now due on August 5, 2026. Since this is the second time the Court is extending Erickson's deadline to respond, see May 20, 2026 Text Order, the Court cautions that, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, further extensions of time will not be granted.
