TEXT ORDER: Per the directives during the video Discovery Conference on 9/9/2026: Plaintiff is directed to comply with Local Rules 7.1(a)(2) and 37.1. Local Rule 7.1(a)(2) states, "the parties must make good faith efforts among themselves to resolve or reduce all differences relating to the non-dispositive issue. If, after conferring, the parties are unable to arrive at a mutually satisfactory resolution, the party seeking relief must then request a court conference with the assigned Magistrate Judge." Local Rule 37.1states: a) "Parties must make good faith efforts among themselves to resolve or reduce all differences relating to discovery prior to seeking court intervention"; and b) The moving party must confer in detail with the opposing party concerning the discovery issues between them in a good faith effort to eliminate or reduce the area of controversy and to arrive at a mutually satisfactory resolution. "Failure to do so may result in a denial of a motion to compel discovery and/or imposition of sanctions." Plaintiff is reminded that defendant Yansiel Machado is represented by counsel (see Dkt. Nos. 11 , 33 , and 39 ) and, therefore, Plaintiff may not contact defendant Machado directly. Counsel for Defendants shall file a status report by September 23, 2026, detailing when and how the parties met and conferred, either in person or by telephone, and any unresolved discovery disputes.
