Order
TEXT ORDER. Plaintiff has filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal with Prejudice 13, which states that the Court shall "retain[] jurisdiction to enforce the terms of the Settlement Agreement." However, the Court's retention of jurisdiction over the case to enforce a settlement agreement is not automatic and the parties must therefore file an appropriate motion that includes the agreed-upon settlement and the basis for the Court to retain jurisdiction. See generally Order, Golden Gate Chiropractic Ctr. Inc. v. Nationwide Ins. Co. of Am., No. 2:20-cv-849-JLB-NPM (M.D. Fla. Dec. 18, 2020), ECF No. 11. If no party files the appropriate paper or a motion or an extension of time to file such paper on or before January 15, 2024, the Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to dismiss this action with prejudice and without further notice. Signed by Judge John L. Badalamenti on 1/3/2024. (AMB)
