Order ~Util - Set Deadlines
ORDER: Plaintiff Angelina Showers and Defendant Sing for Service, LLC, d.b.a. Mepco, have presented a discovery dispute to the Court regarding two classes of documents: (1) a query export/report in Excel format identifying Mepco customers whose Payment Plan Agreement ("PPA") originated from Defendant Pelican Investment Holdings Group, LLC from December 1, 2020 through August 30, 2022 (hereinafter "Customer Export"); and (2) the native PPAs for those customer accounts. Mepco objects to the production of both classes of documents. Upon consideration of the parties' arguments at today's discovery dispute conference, the Court ORDERS Mepco to produce the Customer Export as requested by Showers on or before August 25, 2026. Mepco is not required to produce the underlying PPAs due to their apparent limited relevance to the issues at play and the burden that their production would impose on Mepco. This ruling is without prejudice. The Court is willing revisit the discoverability of the underlying PPAs if future developments warrant it. (Action due by 8/25/2026). Signed by Judge Nancy J.
