Order
Order [non-document]: On August 5, 2026, the Court conducted a Zoom status conference with defendant Dr. John Kapoor and the MDL plaintiffs that have brought claims against him. The Court now orders as follows: Dr. Kapoor must, by August 19, 2026, produce to Plaintiffs his last three years of personal tax returns filed as of that date. If Dr. Kapoor's 2025 tax return has not been filed by then, he must produce his 2022, 2023, and 2024 returns, and must also produce his 2025 return once it has been filed. If Dr. Kapoor's 2025 tax return has been filed on or before August 19, 2026, he need only produce his 2023, 2024, and 2025 returns by that date. Further, Plaintiffs must carefully investigate the terms of Dr. Kapoor's settlement agreement as discussed during the conference. Both parties shall use this information to mediate in good faith prior to the next conference. The Court will conduct a follow up Zoom status conference at 10:00 AM on November 4, 2026. Entered on behalf of Judge Dan Aaron Polster on August 6, 2026. (R,AP)
