MINUTE entry before the Honorable Beth W. Jantz: The Court has reviewed the parties' Joint Status Report 56 , in which the parties report on the status of discovery and their interest in settlement talks. Plaintiffs request an extension of the fact discovery deadline, which the appearing Defendants do not oppose. The Court construes this request as a motion and GRANTS Plaintiffs' motion. Accordingly, fact discovery shall be completed by 2/26/2027. Regarding settlement, the Court directs the parties to its Standing Order for Settlement Conferences, which requires that the parties exchange firm settlement demands and offers before any conference. The parties shall call in for a telephonic status hearing on 11/19/26 at 9:00 am. At that hearing, the parties shall be prepared to address any mutual interest in settlement talks, as well as the status of fact discovery. To join the hearing by phone, dial 1-650-479-3207 and enter access code 2308 182 1801. Entering an attendee code is not required. Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court-issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court.
