MDL TEXT ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Defendants' Motion for an Order to Show Cause Why all Cases in this MDL Should not be Dismissed with Prejudice (the "Motion"). (ECF No. 45314 .) In opposition to the Motion, PSC argues in part that the Motion is premature and raises that the Court scheduled a case management conference (currently set for August 3, 2026) "to address the withdrawal [of Plaintiffs' specific causation experts] and how to proceed with th[e] bellwether cases moving forward." (ECF No. 45576 at 5.) As the Court is in the midst of deliberations on the Motion, PSC is directed to e-file correspondence by July 15, 2026. The e-filed correspondence shall: (1) indicate whether the PSC intends to seek reinstatement of their specific causation experts for the bellwether cases; and (2) detail how the PSC intends to move forward with the bellwethers, which should include identification of any information relevant to showing specific causation should the PSC not intend to reinstate those experts.
