ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: On July 1, 2026, Defendant, Austin Peay State University, filed a motion to dismiss (Doc. No. 8 , "First Motion"). Plaintiff's response to Defendant's First Motion was due on or before July 15, 2026, but to date Plaintiff has filed no such response. Then, on July 30, 2026, Defendant filed a "Motion and Memorandum of Law to Deem Defendant's [First] Motion... Unopposed" (Doc. No. 10 , "Second Motion"). Plaintiff's response to Defendant's Second Motion was due on or before August 13, 2026, but to date Plaintiff has filed no such response. Accordingly, Plaintiff is ordered to SHOW CAUSE by September 1, 2026, why his claims should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute or for the reasons stated in the Defendant's First Motion.
