ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Plaintiff filed his complaint on 4/9/2026. A summons was issued as to defendants four days later. Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(m) required plaintiff to serve this summons on defendants within 90 days of the date that he filed his complaint. The final date for serving the summons, then, was 7/8/2026. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m). To date, plaintiff has not filed proof of service on the docket. By 7/24/2026, plaintiff is directed to show cause in writing why there exists "good cause" for his failure to serve defendants within the time limits prescribed by Rule 4(m). See ibid. Alternatively, if plaintiff served plaintiffs on or before 7/8/2026, he is directed to file proof of service on the docket. If plaintiff fails to do so, this Court is likely to dismiss the action without prejudice. See ibid.
The status conference scheduled for 7/13/2026 is adjourned sine die.
