Status Conference Order on Motion for Extension of Time to File
Minute Entry and Order: A telephonic Status Conference was held on 8/26/2026 before Magistrate Judge Taryn A. Merkl. Appearances by Virginia Anello for Plaintiff; Thomas Keane (no notice of appearance) for Defendant Rowell. Discussion held regarding case status. As discussed on the record, Plaintiff and Defendant Rowell have reached a settlement in principle.
As stated on the record, by 9/30/2026, the parties are directed to file stipulations of dismissal as to Defendants Kremers-Urban and Rowell or a joint status report advising the Court of the status of settlement discussions and any additional case updates as to the remaining two Defendants. All other case deadlines remain temporarily stayed, sine die. Accordingly, the letter motion 95 , which (1) advises the Court that all Defendants aside from two have been dismissed following settlement resolution, (2) requests 30 days to finalize to finalize the settlement discussions or provide a status report updating the Court on the status of settlement as to Defendant Kremers-Urban and (3) provides a status report as to Defendant Rowell, is granted in part, in accordance with the above directives.
