   TEXT ORDER granting 27 Motion to Adjourn Status Conference as to Christopher Hernandez (1). In light of the parties advising they are in the process of scheduling a Plea Hearing before a District Judge, the Status Conference before Hon. Mark W. Pedersen shall be adjourned for a period of approximately 30 days, being 8/6/2026 at 9:30 AM. At the parties request, time is excluded in the interests of justice pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3161 (h)(7)(A) until the adjourn date. I find that the Defendant's and the public's interest in a speedy trial are outweighed by the Defendant's interest in having sufficient time to finalize plea negotiations with the Government. Should the Plea Hearing be scheduled to take place after this Status Conference, the Status Conference will be reset and the time excluded through the newly scheduled date. Further, the Status Conference will be adjourned without further notice should the Plea Hearing take place, the Defendant plead guilty, and the District Judge accept the plea of guilty. SO ORDERED.
