Order on Motion for Extension of Time
PAPERLESS ORDER ON DISCOVERY-RELATED MOTIONS. United States District Judge David S. Leibowitz has referred all discovery matters to the undersigned for appropriate disposition. See ECF No. 226 at 2. Presently before the Court are 247 Non-Party Capital One N.A.'s ("Capital One") Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Produce Responsive Documents and Privilege Log and 258 Non-Party Truist Bank's Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Comply with Order on Discovery Motions (the "Motions"). In the Motions, Capital One and Truist Bank request additional time to comply with the Court's 238 Order on Discovery Motions based on Capital One's pending motions before the District Judge. ECF Nos. 247 at 1, 258 at 2; see ECF Nos. 230 (Capital One's Motion to Amend the [Protective] Order), 231 (Capital One's Objections to Magistrate Judge's Order) (the "Pending Motions"). A hearing on the Pending Motions is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024, before the District Judge. See ECF No. 257 at 1. According to the banks, a ruling on the Pending Motions will directly affect their production of responsive documents. ECF Nos. 247 at 1-2, 258 at 2. Therefore, in the interest of judicial economy and efficient case management, Capital One's request for an extension is GRANTED and Truist Bank's request for an extension is GRANTED IN PART. Within five days of the District Judge's ruling on the last of the Pending Motions, Capital One and Truist Bank must produce all responsive documents and accompanying privilege logs, if necessary. Signed by Magistrate Judge Alicia O. Valle on 5/13/2024. (lbe)
