Discovery
MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) Order re: Plaintiffs' Motion to Compel by Magistrate Judge Douglas F. McCormick: This case is scheduled for trial in just four months. See Dkt. 111. Neither the parties, nor the Court, desire any delay in the current trial schedule. If it is MELCO's position that it was entitled to discovery on over two hundred of TCL's products, even though its Initial and Final Infringement Contentions list less than sixty specific products, it should have taken steps to address this issue earlier in the discovery phase. In the instant Motion, filed months after the close of discovery, MELCO has failed to show that it is entitled to the supplemental discovery responses it seeks. Accordingly, MELCO's Motion is DENIED. Denying 118 Motion for Discovery. [SEE DOCUMENT FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.] (es)
