   Minute entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Diana Song Quiroga. Status Conference held on September 1, 2026. Plaintiff appeared via Zoom through counsel Adam Rivas and Defendants appeared via Zoom through counsel Glenn Romero (Corporacion CLC Solutions, Guadarrama, and Cortez Felix d/b/a Deralli Transport) and Daryl Hayes (Schneider National Carriers). This hearing was held to discuss the question of substituted service on Defendant Alicia Amaro (see Dkt. No. 76). Also discussed were the three pending Motions to Compel Discovery Responses (Dkt. Nos. 7981). Regarding the service of Defendant Amaro, Mr. Rivas explained that the address they had may be stale and that they believed Defendant Guadarrama might have Ms. Amaros address. The Court discussed alternate means of reaching Ms. Amaro as well as putting Mr. Rivas on notice that additional briefing will be required to address authorities for alternate service outside the Hague procedures should he wish to go down that avenue. Mr. Romero said he did not object to substituted service.Regarding the discovery requests, the Court encouraged the parties to work out discovery issues without the need for the three pending motions to compel. Plaintiff and Mr. Hayes advised that they have conferred regarding discovery and Defendant Schneider. The Court advised that if the parties need more time to resolve the motions before the response deadline for the pending discovery motions (9/4/26), they should file an unopposed motion to extend time.
