MINUTE entry before the Honorable Karyn L Bass Ehler. This case has been referred to Magistrate Judge Bass Ehler for a settlement conference. The Court has reviewed the parties' last status report 161 . If the parties agree, the Court asks the parties to submit their recent settlement correspondence to Settlement_Correspondence_BassEhler@ilnd.uscourts.gov by 6/30/26. In-person status hearing is set for 7/2/26 at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 1386. The attorneys who will participate in the settlement conference shall attend the status hearing and should come prepared with dates in August and September when counsel and their clients are available to attend a settlement conference and when the attorneys are available to schedule ex parte attorneys-only calls with Judge Bass Ehler prior to the settlement conference. The Court also will discuss whether additional settlement letters should be exchanged and will set dates for those letters as needed. Counsel are directed to review Judge Bass Ehler's Standing Order for Settlement Conferences and to share and review the Standing Order with their clients prior to the status hearing. Mailed notice.
