Proceedings: By July 15, 2026 at 12:00pm, the parties shall file a joint stipulation identifying the five additional agreed-upon metadata fields related to Slack (as well as any additional metadata fields the parties have agreed on) for inclusion in the forthcoming ESI Protocol. The parties shall file a letter brief regarding any outstanding metadata disputes by July 21, 2026. The parties presented their positions regarding Plaintiffs' ESI obligations related to the Plaintiff Fact Sheets. The parties shall meet and confer by July 21, 2026 and file either a joint letter brief or stipulation addressing this matter by July 28, 2026.
The parties advised the Court that they will be meeting and conferring on July 16, 2026, regarding interim discovery deadlines. The parties shall conclude their conferral efforts no later than July 21, 2026, and shall file either a joint letter brief or stipulation addressing interim discovery deadlines within three business days of concluding their conferral efforts. The parties advised the Court that they are continuing to exchange edits to the privilege log protocol.
Lyft presented information regarding its size relative to Uber and requested that the Court consider this information when formulating the ESI Protocol. Plaintiffs responded.
The Court ordered Lyft to re-file its application regarding preservation, as portions of its application and supporting declaration at ECF No. 246 were redacted.
The next discovery status conference is set for 1:30pm on August 25, 2026, via Zoom webinar.
