Order
ENDORSED ORDER: Lead Counsel shall file an amended notice of mediation informing the Court as to the date, time, and location of the in-person mediation by July 6, 2026. Signed by Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington on 7/1/2026. (MEG)
Order on Motion to Continue
ENDORSED ORDER ruling on Defendants' Unopposed Emergency Joint Motion to Continue Mediation. (Doc. # 64). The Court grants the Motion to the extent of extending the mediation deadline until July 15, 2026, and allowing Defendants to reschedule the in-person mediation. To the extent Defendants request permission to allow remote appearances at the mediation conference, the Motion is denied. As stated in the Scheduling Order (Doc. # 13 at 8), the Court does not permit parties to mediate via telephone or video conference. The Court firmly believes that in-person mediations are more productive than video mediations. Accordingly, all individuals whose presence is required at the mediation must appear in person. All rules and requirements announced in the prior order appointing mediator (Doc. # 34) still apply. Signed by Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington on 7/1/2026. (MEG)
