Text Only Order ~Util - Terminate Motions
TEXT ONLY ORDER signed by Chief Judge Pamela Pepper on 9/14/2026 re 126 Defendants' Unopposed Motion for Leave to Exceed the Page Limitation of Civil Local Rule 7(f). The defendants ask to exceed the 30-page limit for the brief supporting their motion to dismiss, explaining that the brief addresses the claims of eleven defendants, each requiring a separate analysis under Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(2). Id. at 2. Because the brief had not been finalized when the defendants filed the instant motion, they could not inform the court how many additional pages they would need. Id. at 3. On September 11, 2026, the defendants filed an 83-page brief. Dkt. No. 128. The court FINDS that the defendants have shown good cause and GRANTS their motion to exceed the page limitation. The court ORDERS that the plaintiff's brief in opposition to the motion must not exceed 83 pages; the defendants' reply brief must not exceed 41 pages. (cc: all counsel)(cb)
