   ELECTRONIC ORDER: The Court ORDERS Defendant State Farm Lloyds to file an amended Notice of Removal to clarify the citizenships of itself and Sharon Fellowship Church of Dallas Inc. The Court notes that for citizenship of a person (including underwriters), "an allegation of residency does not satisfy the requirement of an allegation of citizenship" in the Fifth Circuit. Strain v. Harrelson Rubber Co., 742 F.2d 888, 889 (5th Cir. 1984); see also Preston v. Tenet Healthsystem Mem'l Med. Ctr., Inc., 485 F.3d 793, 797-98 (5th Cir. 2007) (discussing intent to remain). Thus, one must plead both residency and intent to remain. Additionally, a corporation is "a citizen of every State and foreign state by which it has been incorporated and of the State or foreign state where it has its principal place of business." 28 U.S.C. § 1332(c)(1).
