Order on Motion for Protective Order
ENDORSED ORDER denying without prejudice the parties' 21 Amended Stipulated Confidentiality Order and Qualified HIPAA Protective Order. It is the practice of the presiding District Judge to include a provision in her Case Management and Scheduling Orders that discourages parties from seeking the Court's endorsement of their confidentiality agreements. The undersigned has no reason to believe that the District Judge will not employ the same approach here. To the extent the parties separately request an order pursuant to Federal Rule of Evidence 502, they should file a properly supported motion seeking such relief and should include with their submission a proposed order for the Court to consider. See M.D. Fla. R. 3.01. Signed by Magistrate Judge Christopher P. Tuite on 4/26/2024. (AMS)
