Initial Conference Hearing
MINUTE ENTRY and ORDER: An Initial Conference was held before Magistrate Judge Lara K. Eshkenazi on 6/30/2026. Appearances by Benjamin Folkinshteyn for Plaintiff and Eric Stern for Defendants. The parties' discovery plan is updated pursuant to the attached Scheduling Order. The parties shall file a joint status letter by 10/19/2026 updating the Court on the progress of discovery, and whether they seek a settlement conference before the Court. The close of fact discovery is 1/29/2027. The parties shall submit a joint status report certifying the close of fact discovery by 2/5/2027. In that letter the parties are directed to inform the Court if they intend to proceed with expert discovery, and if so, propose a schedule. If not, the parties shall propose either a date to initiate dispositive motion practice in accordance with the Individual Rules of Judge Gujarati, or a date for the submission of a joint pre-trial order.
