Order on Motion to Shorten Time
PAPERLESS ORDER: The court is in receipt of Donna Denison's Motion to Shorten Time for Horsey Denison Landscaping, LLC ("HDL") to Respond to Denison's Motion to Strike Tardy Expert Designation at ECF No. 209 (the "Motion"). Preliminarily, the court commends to the parties' attention that the proceeding scheduled on August 31, 2026 was not scheduled as a hearing at which the court would consider oral arguments. The court was clear in its order at ECF No. 207 and related correspondence to counsel that the proceeding is for the purposes of delivering an oral ruling from the bench. That notwithstanding, the court appreciates that the discovery deadline in this matter is fast approaching and that resolution of the motion to strike at ECF No. 208 will affect the parties' deposition scheduling and related expenditure of resources. Further, the court finds it efficient to address the motion at ECF No. 208 at the August 31 proceeding. Therefore, it is this 20th day of August 2026, ORDERED that the Motion shall be, and is hereby, GRANTED.
