Asylum Seekers Lose Under AG Sessions' New Restrictions

Matter of A-B- (asylum decisions use the party's initials) vacates existing precedent and is a blow to victims of domestic violence from countries without institutions to protect them. Women from countries with no comprehensive law for combating domestic violence or where domestic violence is a cultural norm now will be hard-pressed to find refuge in the United States....
