Law360 (May 22, 2019, 10:00 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump is expected to appoint immigration hardliner Ken Cuccinelli to a top post at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he will likely facilitate coordination among the immigration agencies and push through Trump’s regulatory goals, policy analysts said.

A White House official said Wednesday that the former Virginia Attorney General and onetime gubernatorial candidate would oversee immigration at DHS, clarifying that the position is not an “immigration czar” based out of the White House.
