High Court Bolstered Immigrant Removal Rights This Term
Law360, New York (June 29, 2015, 9:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court issued just a handful of immigration rulings this term but the justices left a mark as they increased deportation protections, displayed their distaste for removals based on minor drug crimes and left the door open to future challenges of visa decisions by consular officers.
Of the three major immigration decisions handed down by the Supreme Court this term, immigrants prevailed handily in two of them: Mata v. Lynch and Mellouli v.
