Trump Order Allows Refugee Admissions To Resume
Law360, New York (October 24, 2017, 6:14 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump issued an executive order Tuesday allowing refugees to be admitted into the U.S. once again, although the administration says it will collect additional information from applicants and that extra review is needed for refugees from 11 unnamed countries.
With the last travel ban’s provision against refugee admissions expiring on Tuesday, Trump issued a new executive order saying that refugee travel into the U.S. could resume and that the Department of Homeland Security could again make decisions on refugee applications.
