Classes OK'd In Geico Personal Injury Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (January 4, 2010, 5:20 PM EST) -- A federal judge has certified two classes of car insurance customers to move forward with some claims in a suit alleging Geico Corp. arbitrarily refused to pay for medical care after they were injured in auto accidents, in violation of Delaware law.

Judge Joseph J. Farnan Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday certified two of the three classes the plaintiffs had requested for three of the five claims asserted in the suit.
