Olympic Ban Of Cleared Russian Athletes Is Lawless

By Ronald Katz (February 7, 2018, 4:26 PM EST) -- The International Olympic Committee's decision to continue to ban Russian athletes from the Pyeongchang Olympics is lawless because it rejects the decision of a tribunal, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, created by none other than the IOC. Therefore, the IOC president's statement this past Sunday about "the urgent need for reforms in the internal structure of CAS" rings hollow. Most unfortunately, this statement throws an already disorganized procedure into chaos just days before the Pyeongchang Olympics begin....
