ICSID Continues To See Strong Treaty Arbitration Growth

Law360, New York (November 27, 2017, 2:20 PM EST) -- The ICSID 2017 Annual Report, released after the 51st Meeting of its Administrative Council on Oct. 13, 2017, describes a continuing upward trend in the institution’s administration of investment treaty arbitrations. As of June 30, 2017, ICSID was administering 258 cases. This equates to 42 percent of its entire caseload of 619 cases since 1966.
