Feds Look To Curb Trade Barriers For US Hardware Makers

Law360 (April 12, 2018, 3:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce is developing a plan to counteract trade barriers that "arbitrarily discriminate" against U.S. producers of information and communication technology hardware, according to a filing published in the Federal Register on Thursday.

Commerce said it is reviewing possible solutions to defend against certain discriminatory laws and policies implemented by countries that trade with the U.S., in light of "rapid expansion" of such measures over the last five years.
