Deals Rumor Mill: EDP, ConocoPhillips, NXP

Law360 (May 14, 2018, 8:13 PM EDT) -- Portuguese electricity company EDP - Energias de Portugal plans on snubbing China Three Gorges Corp.’s €9.1 billion ($10.9 billion) takeover offer, Bloomberg reported on Monday. Citing anonymous sources, Bloomberg reported that the decision would be based on a belief that the offer undervalues the Lisbon, Portugal-based company. The report details that EDP is being advised by Morgan Stanley and UBS regarding a possible deal.
