Aussie Co. Denied Appeal In $1.4B Chevron LNG Jetty Row

Law360, Washington (March 20, 2017, 1:28 PM EDT) -- An Australian contractor alleging Chevron shortchanged it by AU$1.8 billion ($1.39 billion) on a AU$3.4 billion liquefied natural gas jetty project was denied immediate appeal Friday when a California federal judge stood by her decision pausing the case pending arbitration she said is sufficiently related to the lawsuit.
