Groups Say Tax Reform Can't Be Temporary, Allow Loopholes

Law360, New York (July 17, 2017, 6:25 PM EDT) -- A coalition of major corporations that was initially formed to support the House Republicans’ tax reform ideas urged senators on Monday to avoid half-measures such as temporary tax cuts, while dozens of unions and community groups called for an overhaul of tax laws that would ensure the financial sector pays its fair share of taxes.
