Apple At Center Of New ITC Probe Into Macs, iPhones

Law360, Los Angeles (November 14, 2017, 10:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Tuesday it has launched an investigation into an infringement complaint against Apple Inc. by the Southern California company that made the first Mac terminal server.

Apple’s Mac computers, iPhones, iPads, iPods and Apple TVs are at the center of the investigation, spurred by an October complaint by Aqua Connect Inc., which boasts that it was the first to create a terminal server that allows users to access the Mac operating system on remote desktops, according to the ITC.
