Fed. Circ. Patent Eligibility Angst Spurs Sens. Urging Revamp

Law360 (February 22, 2019, 8:49 PM EST) -- At the second in a series of closed-door meetings held by members of Congress to discuss a possible overhaul of patent eligibility law, the lawmakers cited recent Federal Circuit decisions calling for more clarity on the issue as one of their reasons for getting involved, attendees said.

The Feb. 14 meeting called by two U.S. senators and one member of the House was attended by dozens of attorneys, executives and industry group representatives, and followed an initial meeting in December.
