Reebok, Warrior Cut Off Lacrosse Gear Patent Battle

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 8:02 PM EST) -- Warrior Sports Inc. and Reebok International Ltd. on Thursday dropped their dispute in Michigan federal court over eight patents covering hockey and lacrosse equipment.

U.S. District Judge Patrick Duggan signed an order dismissing the matter with prejudice after the Michigan-based unit of New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc. and Reebok agreed to drop their claims and pay their own attorneys' fees and costs.

Their stipulation of dismissal did not explicitly state that a settlement had been reached. Neither party's counsel could be reached for comment Thursday....
